27.03.15  Rod Licence Money Helps 17 Clubs And Fisheries Improve Facilities For Anglers The new Fishery Improvement Fund, administered by the Angling Trust and funded with rod licence income from the Environment Agency, has made funding awards to 3 fisheries, 13 clubs and 1 angling project totalling £65,000 to improve facilities for angling throughout England.

27.03.15  Angling Trust Urges Anglers To Speak Up For Our Waters As the Environment Agency releases figures today that reveal just 17% of England’s rivers are in good health, the Angling Trust and the Blueprint for Water Coalition are urging communities across England to make a stand and speak up for the rivers, lakes, wetlands and beaches that they love.

25.03.15  Political Parties Challenged To Sign Up To A Manifesto For Angling The Angling Trust has today published its 2015 Manifesto for Angling ahead of the General Election on May 7th, which is being sent to all the main political parties and to members of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Angling, in a move to continue the strong cross-party support which angling has enjoyed in recent years.

19.03.15  New Live Fish Movements Scheme Defra introduced new regulations for the Keeping and Introduction of live fish in fisheries in England on the 19th January. These new regulations require fishery owners or managers to hold a permanent Site Permit, which sets out what species they can introduce and what non-native fish they can keep.
