This year, coarse, game and sea anglers from more than 60 countries will converge on the historic city of Florence on the 28th August for the opening ceremony of the 3rd edition of the Sport Fishing World Championships.

The Angling Trust, England’s national governing body is affiliated to the World governing body for competition angling and has teams representing England who are taking part in the FIPSed, FIPSmer, FIPSmouche and FIPScasting division of the games at various locations in Italy from 28th August - 4th September.

We are sure that everyone will join Angling Trust in wishing all our teams the very best of luck this year, and we will report on their truimphs in the autumn members magazine.
