The studies further strengthen the case for action to be taken to protect fish stocks in the UK from unsustainable predation by cormorants.

22.03.13 Take someone fishing for free The TAKE A FRIEND FISHING campaign, organised and run by the Angling Trades Association, is back to encourage parents, grandparents and friends to take the time over the Easter break to give family members and friends the chance to have a go at fishing. Particularly if there’s nothing they want to watch on the TV and they have an extra few days off work!

19.03.13 MPs briefed on Angling Trust cormorant report highlighting the case for better controls to protect our fisheries The Angling Trust has taken the case for tougher controls on cormorant numbers to Parliament with a special briefing for MPs from the All Party Angling Group on their recently published 10,000 word report highlighting the damage done to fisheries and wild fish stocks in the UK as a result of a fifteen fold increase in cormorant numbers over the last 25 years.
