The Species Hunt 2016 has been developed to appeal to all Sea Anglers, support the sport we hold in such high regard and to get more anglers out there fishing more often.

The Hunt is sponsored by TronixPro and run by the Angling Trust.

We've got a really active Facebook page too so check that out for the latest news and photos from our Hunters.

Our three nationwide challenges run alongside each other from the 1st May 2016 and run until 31st March 2017:

1] The Species Hunt - Catch the most different species of sea fish in UK waters (150 designated species)

2] The Specimen Hunt - Catch the largest specimen (38 Species designated on Hunt Card)

3] The Species Hoarder - Catch the most number of a designated species during a month (e.g. cod on the 4th 18th and 21st of a month).
