Suffolk Angling Club receive formal recognition for their contribution to sport in the County

Receiving Suffolk Sport’s Recognition Award for Club Achievments was the culmination of another amazing year for the small but very proactive Gipping Valley Angling Club. The club, one of a growing number of clubs to be awarded the Clubmark award, stood out to the County’s Sport Partnership thanks to its work introducing numerous young people into angling, working in 7 local schools; its Junior Academies; running numerous Suffolk County Junior Open matches and the success of its junior teams in a number of local and national competitions.
