Help us Combat Fish Theft The Angling Trust is working with the Environment Agency in the South East to run a Voluntary Bailiff Service. We want to prove that well trained volunteers can have key part to play in stopping illegal fishing, poaching and fish theft. We then hope to roll the scheme out right round the country. The Angling Trust Thames Forum is an open meeting which is held four times a year and provides an opportunity for fishing clubs, associations, individual anglers and all who care about angling a chance to feedback their views to both the Angling Trust and the Environment Agency on a range of important subjects.  This is your opportunity to influence the decisions, strategies and help identify common issues that impact angling across the region. The Forum will also allow anglers and clubs the opportunity to get involved in local projects and initiatives.

The forums are supported by the Environment Agency and are funded by rod licence money. The Environment Agency attends all meetings to share plans, listen to anglers concerns, answer questions and address problems.

Our Thames Region Forum has been running successfully for some years now. It meets four times a year at the Lambert Arms, Aston Rowant, Watlington, Oxfordshire OX49 5SB.

The Forum has close ties with the Thames Anglers Conservancy and covers all rivers and lakes in the Thames catchment.
