Virtual Fisheries Forum | Hot Weather Resilience for Fisheries
In a follow up session to last year’s Virtual Fisheries Forum ‘Preparing Your Fishery for the Summer Months’, we explore everything there is to know about building resilience for stillwater fisheries; including a look into state of the art remote monitoring systems.
Hot and dry weather conditions are becoming increasingly common across the UK. As many fishery managers know, adapting to these conditions will be vital for the years ahead, and the health of valuable fish stocks.
This Forum is recommended for any fishery owner, manager, or club committee member who maintains a stillwater fishery. It is free to attend and open to all, and we encourage you notify any fishing friends or colleagues who may find the session useful.
Tuesday 12th July 2022
Start time: 7:00pm
End time: 8:30pm (approx)
After feedback from previous events, our Virtual Fisheries Forums are now be broadcast via Zoom. Once you’ve registered, you will be sent a link for joining. You do not need an account with Zoom in order to take part.
Virtual Fisheries Forums follow a simple format, with a talk from our guest speaker, before an open Q&A session, where your questions will be answered. Using the Q&A function on Zoom, you will be able to raise questions at any time. We are also happy to take questions in advance of the meeting.
