Angling Trust – Fisheries Support Service Webinar | Health & Safety Requirements for Working Parties & Projects 2026
Following on from our previous event in 2023, we take another look at the requirements you should be aware of when carrying out projects or working parties and projects.
From both a legal and practical standpoint, ensuring that your club or fishery are compliant with regulations is vital for the safety of all those involved in maintenance work. This session will be split into 3 parts, covering:
- Facilities Projects: Planning & Delivery
- Health & Safety for Angling Clubs
- The Construction and Design Management (CDM) Regulations
While discussion will be largely based around areas covered previously, this session is still a great opportunity for clubs or fisheries to refresh their knowledge and ask questions. It is recommended for all angling clubs and fisheries; particularly those who plan to undertake projects in future. Fisheries Support Service Webinars free to attend and open to all, and we would encourage you to notify any fishing friends or colleagues who might find the session useful. Guest Speakers – Mark Owen (Head of Fisheries-Angling Trust) Paul Coulson (Chief Executive-Institute of Fisheries Management).
