Tickets are just £2 and you could win a session with John Locker, Tom Maker and Scott Lloyd, Rob Hughes, John Horsey or Bob Roberts.

Tickets for the Great Fishing Prize Draw are on sale from 10am on Monday 20th January to 8pm on Sunday 2nd March 2025. The draw to select our 7 lucky winners will take place on Monday 3rd March 2025.

John Locker Prize

Three lucky winners will spend a day fishing with John Locker, the star of youtube sensation ‘The Fish Locker’. John will guide and coach the three winners on a Blue Shark or Bluefin Tuna fishing expedition aboard Anglo Dawn. Sailing out of Falmouth, John will select the best tides to ensure a memorable trip. This is a rare chance to tap into John’s extensive knowledge and experience of these awesome fish and to spend the day with one of the most engaging characters in our sport. And don't forget - with 3 winners there are 3 chances for you to be lucky with this draw! Tackle and bait provided – date to be confirmed in 2025 due to tides and weather conditions.

Tom Maker and Scott Lloyd Prize

Spend an amazing 48 hours fishing with legends Tom Maker and Scott Lloyd. Tom is one of the country’s most prolific carp catchers, having fished for England on multiple occasions Tom catches big carp wherever he goes. Scott has an infectious enthusiasm for carp fishing and has a sensational ability to track down his individual target fish as documented in his films with Stickybaits and Thinking Anglers. This entertaining pair started running group tuitions in 2023 and so are well versed in helping individual anglers develop their skills, catch more carp and most importantly enjoy their time on the bank. One lucky winner will join two of the UK’s finest carp catchers for a 48 hour fishing trip on a lake exclusive booking at the incredible Linear Fisheries in early November 2025.

Rob Hughes Prize

This prize is a very rare opportunity to join 3 x World Champion, England manager and TNT Sports presenter Rob Hughes for 24 hours on one of Rob’s Carp fishing adventures in 2025. Rob has fished all over the world and has some spectacular catches to his name. As an Ambassador his passion and enthusiasm for our sport and bringing new people into it, is infectious. Date and time will be notified and where possible will be flexible to suit the winner.

John Horsey Prize

Our winner will join John Horsey for a 1-to-1 guided day on a boat at either Chew Valley or Blagdon Lake (prize winner’s choice) in 2025. John is England’s highest capped International Fly Angler, a member of the Gold Medal winning England World Championship Team and a Professional Fishing Guide. Spend a day with John on one of these beautiful West Country lakes and benefit from his 32 years of guiding experience.

Bob Roberts Prize

Win a day with all-round specialist Bob Roberts! A former topflight match angler and UK Masters Angling Champion, Bob is a published author whilst contributing to many other titles as well as writing magazine and newspaper articles for more than 35 years. Bob has featured in TV shows on three continents and frequently appeared on TV and Radio in the UK to discuss all things angling whilst making the highly acclaimed ‘Barbel Days and Ways’ and ‘Caught In the Act’ series’ of DVDs. His latest book, The Mighty Trent has practically sold out in just 6 weeks! In 2024 Angling Times presented him with the Outstanding Contribution To Angling Award. Our winner is certain to pick up more than a few tips and tricks and will join Bob at a venue and date to be mutually agreed in 2025.
