“It was a really lovely day and the coach was brilliant. He gave me lots of information on tackle and demonstrated different ways to attach hooks and floats as this is the type of fishing I like to do. I’ll definitely be returning to spend time on lakes, rivers and canals. I had a wonderful return to fishing and will be introducing my grandson to our exciting and rewarding sport.“
“The course was really informative and now I’m ready to go fishing again knowing I can choose the right tackle. The time and energy you put into the course was amazing – thanks.”

What happens on the day: Angling instruction to encourage adults and young people who haven’t been fishing for a couple of years or more to get back into angling. Licensed Level 2 Coaches will show you how to use key items of tackle and lures, flies or bait before moving onto the waterside to catch fish and return them safely. The coach will also provide you with more info about your local club or fishery so by the end of the session you will have enough confidence and knowledge to go fishing straight away.
