Angling Trust ‘Get Fishing’ campaign continues to grow with new How To Fish videos

Following on from the successful launch of the How To Fish campaign last year, this digital initiative to support beginner anglers continues to grow with a new batch of short films for 2018 just released at www.getfishing.org.uk/get-fishing-tv/how-to

‘How To Fish’ films are produced by The Angling Trust with funding from the Environment Agency. They explain the basics of angling and cover diverse subjects for beginners from where to get a fishing licence and how to set up a rod, all the way through to holding and unhooking fish.

How To Fish has become an easy to use, online reference library that can be accessed by all. The new set of films from Double World Champion and BT Sport TV presenter Rob Hughes have given a boost to the national Get Fishing campaign. Rob said “The Angling Trust’s Get Fishing campaign is really helping more people discover the amazing experiences that angling has to offer everyone from all walks of life. This new batch of How To Fish films provide yet more essential information for novice anglers. I hope they’ll appeal to anyone who is new to fishing and needs a quick helping hand to get them out on the bank and immersed in the wonders of fishing.”

How To Fish films cover all types of angling from coarse to carp and sea to game. Anglers can look up a problem and immediately find the answer and in the campaign’s “Rules and Regs” section there’s help too for anyone who might not understand about fishing licences, how to get permission to fish and other important angling info. This will also be a handy resource for coaches, clubs and schools to teach people how to fish.
