Spring Into Fishing with the Angling Trust

Spring has officially arrived with today being the Spring Solstice, so now’s the time to get out and Spring Into Fishing at one of our free, fun and friendly activity days for families. Spring Into Fishing events run by the Angling Trust and funded by the Environment Agency, are a great way to get everyone out doing something different and will help kids learn new skills outdoors – best of all it won’t cost a penny!

Everything needed to learn more about the wonderful world of fishing is provided on the day and our friendly volunteers will make everyone really welcome. Spring Into Fishing sessions are for all ages and experience levels so they’re perfect for complete beginners too. Parents and grandparents – just bring the kids along and have a go yourself – come and get fishing…

We’ll provide you with free tackle, bait, instruction and more info about local clubs and places to go fishing so you know what to do next time. Fishing is a fun, exciting, cheap and healthy outdoor activity plus it’s a great way to enjoy a bit of peace and quiet surrounded by nature. So get out there and get fishing at a Spring Into Fishing event near you!
