Two cracking reads for the close season

Martin Salter doesn’t agree with the dates set for the current river coarse fishing close season, but he does welcome the opportunity to hang up the rods and have a break from this all consuming passion.

It provides an opportunity to sort out the tackle shed, re-rig the tench rods – and immerse yourself in a well written book by someone who shares this crazy obsession.
