ELLIOT BAGS THIRD NATIONAL WIN AT MARSTON!

If they’re lucky, most match anglers might get the chance to win a National once – but not Elliot Fay – he’s won three!
The Devon ace made it a hat-trick of Angling Trust Anglers with Disabilities titles on a hard Marston Fields Fishery, Sutton Coldfield, which was hit by unseasonal low temperatures and driving rain prior to the big event on July 6.
But it didn’t dampen the spirits of the anglers who took part who were all pegged on the venue’s Sycamore Lake.
Elliot took the title thanks to a mix of carp and F1s on Method feeder and pellet tactics going 19-175 at the scales from peg 32.
That gave him almost six kilos in hand of runner-up Keith Watson, the Yorkshireman replying with 13-675 off peg 8, with Tom Ward completing the top three and securing bronze thanks to 10-875 from his day on peg 25.
- The Angling Trust would like to thank Dale and his team at MAP Marston Fields Fishery for their hosting and support of the Anglers with Disabilities National 2024.
