Sunglasses giant backs Angling Trust
Revo have been making top quality polarised sunglasses for 40 years. They are a celebrated brand name in the USA but until recently were less well known in Europe and the UK.
Famous for producing some of the finest quality lenses on earth, Revo have been worn by top sportspeople, adventurers and anglers in the USA for decades and the company is now ready to bring a new level of eyewear to anglers in the UK, too.
“Nothing adds an extra dimension to fishing like being able to see through the water, identify target fish and study their behaviour,” says Gareth Evans, Managing Director of Revo UK & Ireland.
“In many ways, the perfect polarised lenses are the holy grail of sight fishing and Revo lenses are the best you can get. Whether you are fly fishing on a chalkstream, stalking carp on a gravel pit, hunting big pike on a river or casting for bass from the rocks, the more you can see, the more you will catch.”
Revo care deeply about the environment, too and that was one of the key reasons for approaching the Angling Trust as a way of engaging with UK anglers.
“We are hugely impressed by the work that the Angling Trust do to fight pollution, protect rivers, lakes and seas in the UK and their campaigns aimed at inspiring a new generation of anglers,” adds Gareth. “We firmly believe this work really makes a difference and we want to give something back to everyone who supports them.”
To back this up, Revo are generously offering 30% discount to all Angling Trust individual members and will be contributing financially to Angling Trust campaigns. As Gareth puts it: “It’s a way of giving something back to the sport and introducing British anglers to the best fishing sunglasses on earth – all in one fell swoop.”
