We Fish as One supports Pride Month 2025

June is Pride Month – and the Angling Trust is proud to support the LGBTQ+ community to achieve equality for all.

Through our We Fish as One campaign, we aim to highlight that fishing is for everyone, regardless of sexual orientations, gender identities, age, ethnicity, physical or intellectual disabilities, and those associated with minority groups who might otherwise be excluded or marginalised.

During Pride Month 2025 we welcome all people to experience the enjoyment of fishing and the life-changing benefits that angling provides for physical and mental health and wellbeing.

All the Angling Trust’s Get Fishing events are open and welcoming to everyone and treat everyone fairly and equally.

As the NGB for Angling in England, our We Fish as One inclusivity campaign highlights how we always ensure that everyone can enjoy fishing without facing any barriers.

Welcome to angling and all of the amazing health and wellbeing activities that it brings to hundreds of thousands of people every year in a fun, safe and friendly activity that will help you reconnect with nature at beautiful locations next to water, where wildlife thrives and you can experience the peace and excitement angling has to offer.

There are hundreds of our Get Fishing events running nationwide this summer – find them all online, sign up for our events newsletter and read about We Fish as One.

The Angling Trust’s Get Fishing campaign is funded by the Environment Agency, proudly supported by Shakespeare Fishing and Angling Direct as we all work towards getting more people fishing, more often.
