SENSAS FUTURE NETWORKS DO THE DOUBLE DOUBLE IN YOUTH NATIONAL
Sensas Future Networks Black are the undoubted kings of the Angling Trust Youth National after winning their second title in a row at a rain-lashed Drennan Lindholme Leisure Lakes – and they also had the individual winner taking his second gold medal in consecutive years to boot!
Scoring 19 points across their six anglers, the Blacks followed up their win at Partridge Lakes last year with more of the same, ending the day eight points clear of runners-up Team Rammy White, the bronze medals going to the Worksop lads with 29 points.

Top rod for the champs was Harry Michael, winner of this match at Partridge last year too. This time around Harry drew peg 19 on the Laurels Lake in A section where he could reach an overhanging willow tree on the island at 13m.
Using the overshotted method and blasting in casters, he caught big F1s and a sprinkling of carp for a massive 91-500. That not only won the section and the match, but also earned him a place in the Fish O Mania final in a few weeks’ time due to having the top weight across both the Youth match and Junior event that was fished the day before!

Backing Harry up was Alfie Swieton with a second in section on the Laurels Lake, Freddy Wojtyla with seventh and Barnaby Newman with fourth in their sections on the Bonsai Lake and Tyler Adam in second and James Geddes with third in their Willows Lake sections.
Second individually went to his Sensas Future Networks White stablemate Hyrum Wilsher with 70-300, Hyrum being on the other side of the Laurels Lake at peg 31 in B section from where he also used the overshotted method with casters to an island willow tree for a mix of carp and F1s. That left the bronze to be decided, Team Rammy Red angler Oli Robinson taking that with 65-475 of mainly F1s from peg 80 on the Bonsai Lake.
