Summer of Fishing events are happening across England this July, August and September 2025 so simply sign-up for the latest info on these have-a-go fishing summer hol sessions and get weekly news on what’s on near you this summer.
These fishing activity events are all fun, friendly, safe and suitable for all ages and experience levels and everything you need to try fishing will be provided to use on the day. Just bring sun and outdoor clothes, turn up and have some fun together!
Events are free or very low-cost and are ideal for families to discover all about fishing whatever your age, ability or experience. You don’t need to bring any fishing tackle or bait – it’s there to use on the day and as far as a fishing licence goes, it’s a “no” to that too because during the event everyone is covered with a FREE one-day fishing licence generously donated by the Environment Agency that saves everyone over 16 at least £7.30 on the day!
Even if you’ve been fishing before, come back for more tips, skills and info to take you to the next-level.
Summer Of Fishing events are run by Angling Trust Event Delivery Partners – quality assured clubs, fisheries, coaches and charities including Get Hooked on Fishing
Angling Trust is the governing body for angling in England.
