Fly Anglers – Fish for England this September!
AT TEFF are on the hunt for internationally experienced fly anglers who have two or more international caps to represent England in this year’s Five Nations Fly event, which is being held around Ballyvourney in Ireland in late September.
The team of four anglers will compete over four sessions, two on each day on four sectors, with each team member fishing each sector once during the championship. This covers boat, bank and river fishing. At present, sectors will take in the River Blackwater, Lough Leane and provisionally Gouganebarra Lake.
Departing on September 24, the squad will then have four days of practice before the championship begins, running from September 28 until October 1.
Entry fee is still be advised by the organisers along with the programme. However, the fee usually includes official hotel accommodation, all meals, and fishing fees during the championship period. All other costs including travel to and from the venues, and additional practice days are not included in the entry fee.
If you are interested in representing England at the Five Nations, please contact Paul Page via e-mail at: [email protected]
