Virtual Fisheries Forum | South West Environment Agency Updates
For our next Virtual Fisheries Forum, we’re joined by Environment Agency Fisheries Technical Officer Liam Timothy for an update on the work of the Fisheries Team in the South West (Wessex) region. As well as covering activities such as stocking, fish rescues and the National Crucian Conservation Project, Liam will also discuss the issues around invasive Topmouth Gudgeon in the area.
This event offers a great opportunity for angling clubs, fisheries and those with a keen interest to learn more about the work being carried out in the South West region. It is free to attend and open to all, and we encourage you to notify any fishing friends or colleagues who may find the session useful.
Wednesday 26th May
Start time: 7:00pm
End time: 8:15pm (approx)

After feedback from previous events, our Virtual Fisheries Forums will now be broadcast via Zoom. Once you’ve registered, you will be sent a link for joining. You do not need an account with Zoom in order to take part.
Virtual Fisheries Forums follow a simple format, with a talk from our guest speaker, before an open Q&A session, where your questions will be answered. Using the Q&A function on Zoom, you will be able to raise questions at any time. We are also happy to take questions in advance of the meeting.
