***TEAM ENGLAND FINDS PANNECERE RESERVOIR TOUGH WITH THE DRAW BEING PARAMOUNT***
Outlaw Pro Carp Team England found the 23rd-world Carp Championships one of the trickiest venues to come to terms with, over a week of competition it was clear that the draw played the biggest part in good section results in the championship.
The Outlaw Pro team finished in 20th place out of 32 nations at Pannecere with the Pairing of Karl Pitcher and Karl Palmer taking the highest-placed individual pairing in 40th place.
The Reservoir itself was home to a huge stock of carp with the main being that of 3 to 8 kgs with the addition of some older stock pushing the 20kg mark but with the vast depth of the lake pushing that of 80ft it was very tricky to locate and catch the carp present.
New team manager Neil Rivers had this to say, “The venue itself was very peggy with some of our lads fishing in depths of 75ft plus with zig rigs of 50ft which is unheard of back home”.
The Outlaw Pro Carp Team England will look to come back stronger next year looking to regain their no1 world status.
