Volunteering Opportunity – Improving the Environment
The Angling Trust along with ‘Friends Of Pickmere Lake’ – are hosting a litter pick at Pickmere Lake in Cheshire, as part of our ‘Anglers Against Litter’ Campaign sponsored by Shimano. https://anglingtrust.net/get-involved/anglers-against-litter/
The aim of the event is to remove as much litter as possible from the South bank of the lake, an area which is sadly abused by many summer visitors.
We will provide all litter picking equipment needed including pickers, Hi-Viz Anglers Against Litter vests, rubbish bags, gloves and also some refreshments on the day for our volunteers.

Please register your attendance using the sign-up link below. We need your contact details to pass to the event organiser so they know to expect you. Personal data for the register is held electronically in our secure website and may be printed out as a register on the day. We also monitor attendance over multiple events across the year to share the good work with our sponsors. We do not share personal data, just anonymised statistics. After the event, and after recording for sponsor reporting, we delete all personal data.
