TideFest – Sunday 6th September 2026
TideFest returns to the Thames for the 13th year running.
Fished on the tidal river in four zones this annual 40 peg match will take place this year on Sunday 6th September.
Tickets: £20 in advance including £5 to the angling charity Get Hooked on Fishing

Draw: 9:00am Brentford Boating Arch, Kew Bridge, Strand on the Green, W4 3RE
Tides: High – 10:05am at 5.8m. Low – 5:09pm at 1.6m
Fishing: Five hours from – 12 noon – 5:00pm (depending on tide height)
Zones: A) Strand on the Green (upstream); B) Strand on the Green (downstream); C) Barnes foreshore; D) Chiswick (The Ship Inn).
Pegs: As per numbers on path or wall. A & B from Cafe Rouge down to just past the Grove Park Rd slipway. C) Barnes Railway Bridge down to just beyond the slipway. D) Either side of Chiswick Bridge (South Bank).
Prizes: 1st place for highest overall weight – £400 and a trophy; plus three zone winners – £250 each (spread over the remaining zones). Plus £50 per 5 peg section.

Cancellation/Refunds: Please note: If you wish to cancel a ticket, you can do this from your membership account by navigating to “Your Dashboard” in the top right of the website and selecting the “Your Competitions” tab. Alternatively, please inform [email protected] by email, and include your name, the name of the qualifier you would like to cancel, your membership number & post code. We require 3 days-notice prior to the qualifier in order to process a refund. Any notification outside of this time scale will not be entitled to receive a refund.
