Virtual Fisheries Forum | Environment Agency Calverton Fish Farm
At this Virtual Fisheries Forum, we welcome the Environment Agency’s Richard Pitman for a closer look at the work of Calverton Fish Farm.
The National Coarse Fish Rearing Unit at Calverton plays a crucial part in the restocking and recovery of waters around the country. With over half a million Calverton fish stocked into rivers and stillwaters each year, this work represents one of the key ways in which fishing licence income is reinvested for anglers’ benefit. This event offers a great opportunity for anyone with a keen interest to learn more about Calverton Fish Farm, and the work carried out here. It is free to attend and open to all, and we encourage you to notify any fishing friends or colleagues who may find this session useful.
