Eight legends of our sport have generously donated their time to support the Angling Trust’s Great Fishing Prize Draw 2021.

For just £5 a ticket you could win a day’s coaching with Bob Nudd at Decoy Lakes, a day chasing carp pbs with Ali Hamidi or maybe a day at Broadlands on the Test fishing for grayling with Paul Whitehouse.

Perhaps a day getting tips from World number 1 Steve Ringer is more your thing or spending 24hrs of Urban Banx with Alan Blair?

Whatever your preferred style of fishing; match, coarse, game or sea – we have a prize for you!

Simply check out the list of eight fabulous prizes below and decide which one you would like to win! All proceeds from the draw will be used to continue our fight for fish and fishing. As the past 12 months have shown, a strong, united voice for our sport is vital.

Tickets for the Great Fishing Prize Draw are on sale from 9am on the 1st February to 9pm on the 14th March 2021. The draw to select our eight lucky winners will take place on the 18th March 2021. As with the Great Fishing Prize Draw in 2020, over 75% of all proceeds, (after costs relating to transaction fees, promotion, advertising and design costs are deducted), are ploughed back into the Angling Trust to support our work. Once again, no costs have been incurred on prizes, all are generously donated by our ambassadors.

Bob Nudd Prize

Win a day’s coaching with 4 times individual World Freshwater Angling Champion Bob Nudd! A firm fan favourite and widely regarded as the gentleman of the circuit, Bob has been at the top of his game for over 30 years. He has kindly donated a day for 2 people to join him at one of his favourite venues, Decoy Lakes. Date to be agreed between the prize winner and Bob Nudd.

Dave Barham Prize

Win a day’s exclusive guided boat fishing for big bass with journalist, photographer, television presenter and sea fishing fanatic Dave Barham! Dave's prize is for 2 anglers to spend the day fishing on board ‘Kelley’s Hero IV’ sailing out of Gosport. Lunch will also be provided for the winners on the day. Date to be agreed between the winner and Dave Barham but a preference may be for September or October when large bass specimens are found off the south coast.

Paul Whitehouse Prize

Win a day’s fishing for 2 people with actor, comic, writer and star of the BBCs ‘Gone Fishing’ Paul Whitehouse! Spend a day at the superb Broadlands Lake fishing for Grayling on the River Test. Perhaps Paul will be able to share what you can expect to see in series 4... Date and venue to be agreed between the prize winner and Paul Whitehouse but likely to be September/October 2021.

James Stokoe Prize

Win a day’s salmon fishing with the winner of BBC’s ‘Big Fish’ and fishing guide James Stokoe! James is offering his expertise for 2 lucky people to join him on his home patch on the Tyne to fish for this majestic and often elusive species. Some anglers spend their lifetime trying to hook the king of fish but as James has been salmon fishing since he was 13, you're in safe hands. Date to be agreed between the prize winner and James Stokoe.

Steve Ringer Prize

Win a day’s fishing for 2 people with Feeder fishing ranked world number 1 and angling consultant for Guru and Ringerbaits Steve Ringer! Arguably the biggest name in commercial match fishing with a host of titles to his name, a day spent with Steve is guaranteed to improve your technique as well as your street cred. Steve and Guru have also kindly donated bait and tackle to use on the day. Date and venue to be agreed between the prize winner and Steve Ringer.

Ali Hamidi Prize

Win a day’s carp fishing for 2 people with Korda Marketing Head and star of Monster Carp and The Big Fish Off, Ali Hamidi! A day with Ali means you're guaranteed banter, lots of laughs and expert guidance as you chase your new PB. Ali and Korda have also kindly agreed to provide bait and tackle to use on the day. Alan Blair Prize

Win a day’s fishing for you and a friend with Alan Blair of Nash Tackle! Win a session of a lifetime, a day tailored around you and a friend with Alan Blair of Nash Tackle. Whether you want to catch your biggest ever fish, catch lots of fish or step into Alan’s shoes and enjoy the type of whirl-wind multi venue adventure for which he and the Urbanbanx series are so well known, Alan will design a session to deliver. Date to be mutually agreed between the prize winner and Alan Blair.

Hywel Morgan Prize

Grab your chance to win a day’s fly fishing for 2 with Welsh angling star Hywel Morgan! Well known for his television work, record breaking fly casting skills, and achievements on the competition scene, Hywel is offering a guided day on an exclusive non-day ticket beat of the river Usk or the upper Wye, kindly donated by Gwent Angling Society. You'll spend the day fishing for grayling or wild brown trout where you are sure to learn many new casting and fishing techniques whilst enjoying the beautiful Welsh countryside on a pristine stretch of river. Date to be agreed with the prize draw winner and Hywel Morgan.
