TV and Radio’s Matthew Wright reviews the Get Fishing how to fish guide book
Popular TV and talkRADIO presenter, journalist and lifelong keen angler Matthew Wright let’s us know what he thinks of the new Get Fishing ‘how to’ guide to fishing book by Allan Sefton…
Matthew was enthusiastic about giving us his review of the book – he sent us this great photo too and said:
“I saw this new ‘how-to guide to fishing’ from the team at Get Fishing – they help thousands of kids and families to try fishing each year. This Get Fishing book will be ideal for families who want to give fishing a go, and enjoy a great activity together, outdoors. I’ve read a lot of these books over the years and this is definitely a cut above!”
Thanks Matthew!
Matthew recently featured in Angling Times magazine discussing fishing. He explained that angling has brought him a life full of excitement and passion from the day that he first went float fishing with his dad at just 8 years old. More recently though, going fishing has helped to deal with some mental health issues he’s experienced.
Matthew told the Angling Times that fishing has given him time to gather his thoughts and unwind alone with just his fishing rods by the water. He explained: “Fishing gives you the opportunity to step out of the daily grind. You can get away from stuff that’s on top of you and allow your mind to focus on something other than your worries.” Read the full article in the 10th February edition of Angling Times.
