This popular sea fishing awards programme is run by the Angling Trust and supported by Glasgow Angling Centre
This annual competition opens on 1st December and closes on 30th November of the following year, is open to paid up Members of the Angling Trust and Members of its Affiliated Clubs. It is divided into two sections for fish caught from boats or for fish caught from the shore.
As an angler you receive a certificate for each specimen fish awarded and for a small fee can also purchase the appropriate medal to go with it.
This year we’ve introduced a Juniors’ competition and a Catch & Release measurement system, as well as brand new prizes!
The sought-after ‘Sea Angling News‘ trophy is awarded each year to the fishing club with the most entries. Winners will be announced in the Angling Trust Sea Update email newsletters. Don’t receive them? Sign up here for free at www.anglingtrust.net/subscribe
