I’m a Level 2 Coach with First Catch Coaching and have been fishing for over 20 years. To this day I can still remember my first, memorable catch.

Fishing a busy day ticket coarse fishery with my dad in Norfolk and, after spending all day catching Tench, I hooked into a small carp about 10lbs. It beat me up for nearly 10 minutes on a light float rod but eventually it slipped into my net. From that day on I was hooked on fishing for life. I am a fully qualified level 2 lead angling coach, licensed through the Angling Trust. This puts me in a privileged position to be able share in that first catch feeling with every client that comes to First Catch. First catch offers fishing lessons for those that have never fished before, all the way up to personalised coaching sessions for the most experienced of anglers.
