Anglers Against Pollution
March for Clean Water – join us on Sunday, November 3rd!
The Angling Trust is calling on all anglers and supporters to stand with us at the March for Clean Water on Sunday, November 3rd, in London.
This event is a crucial opportunity for the angling community to raise its voice and demand urgent action to protect our rivers, lakes, estuaries, and seas.
We’ve already shared this video featuring our ambassador, Paul Whitehouse, alongside Bob Mortimer, urging support for the cause. Now, the Angling Trust and Fish Legal are asking you to join us in person to demonstrate the collective passion anglers have for safeguarding the future of our waters.
Event Details:
- Date: Sunday, November 3rd.
- Time: Assemble from 11:00am, march starts at 11:45am.
- Location: Albert Embankment, London, SE1. Zones C-D, look for signs on the lamp posts and the Anglers Against Pollution banners.
- Rally: The event will conclude with a rally at Parliament Square from 1.30pm finishing around 3:00pm.
- Speaker: Penny Gane from Fish Legal.
We’re asking everyone to wear blue as a show of solidarity, why not choose a hat or hoodie from our shop. If you want, carry an old rod, or make up your own Anglers Against Pollution placard to show that the angling community stands united in the fight for cleaner, healthier waters.
If you’re unable to attend, you can still make a difference by sharing our posts on social media to raise awareness and encourage others to get involved.
This is our moment to stand up for clean water – we need your support. We hope to see you on November 3rd!
