Anglers Against Litter
Anglers Against Litter at Coppice Pool

Three cheers for six anglers! These hardy souls (plus the photographer!) braved the recent cold weather to use their recently acquired Anglers Against Litter kits to clean up their local lake Coppice Pool, near Inkberrow in Worcestershire.
After a few hours around the Birmingham Anglers Association fishery, they collected three large black bags of litter, most of which was hidden in the undergrowth. The collection was then graded with much of it being suitably recycled.
The Angling Trust’s Anglers Against Litter campaign is sponsored by tackle manufacturers Shimano and supported by the Environment Agency. More than 100 angling clubs have signed up to receiving litter picking kits and pledge to carry out at least two organised litter picks per year.
The ‘Six Musketeers’ from left to right are: Steve Middleton, John Hale, Dennis Hawthorne, Steve Gray and Colin Townsend. Craig Williams was the other side of the lens.
Well done all!
