APPLY NOW – MANAGER REQUIRED FOR ANGLING TRUST ENGLAND DISABLED TEAM
The Angling Trust is seeking an experienced, motivated person to become the manager of the England Disabled Coarse Angling squad.
Following the retirement of long-serving manager John Weeden earlier this month, we’re looking for a highly skilled individual to take over running this successful squad and lead them into next year’s World Champs in Portugal and beyond.
The successful candidate will share Angling Trust’s goal to make England the number one nation in the world and uphold the tradition of nurturing talented anglers and delivering results on the world stage.
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the team activities including planning and delivery of assessment days, coaching sessions, fundraising activities, and selecting and leading the team to compete in the annual FIPSed World Championships.
The ideal candidate will possess experience of international angling as manager, coach, or angler, hold coaching qualifications or be committed to attaining qualifications following appointment, and working with anglers with disabilities.
Interested parties can find out more about the requirements for the role here: England Disabled Manager Role Description
To apply, please email your CV with a supporting letter of no more than 500 words on why you are the perfect person for the role to Steve Fitzpatrick, Head of Competitions, at competitions@anglingtrust.net
Closing date for applications is Friday September 6, 2024.
