First Aid is not part of the Level 2 course itself, but the link above has information to help you source training which will meet the qualification criteria if you don’t already hold a suitable current certificate. You should also receive a copy of this information with your confirmation of booking and again with your pre-course resources mailing.
Please note:
DBS checking is NOT a requirement for taking or passing a coaching qualification, but in order to take up your free first year of coach licensing you’ll need to undertake the appropriate category of Enhanced DBS check, which Angling Trust will process for you. There will be information about this after your booking confirmation has been supplied.
You don’t need membership of Angling Trust in order to undertake a coaching qualification. In fact, after certification you’re eligible to take up the first year of Licensed Coach membership without incurring the usual fee. Coach membership also provides Professional Indemnity insurance specifically for your coaching activities, which Individual (non-coach) membership doesn’t.
