Virtual Fisheries Forum | Funding in Action: How Angling Clubs are Tackling Invasive Species
Following on from our last Virtual Fisheries Forum, Tackling Invasive Species in London & the South East, we explore how individual angling clubs are successfully managing Invasive Non-Native Species (INNS) with help from the Angling Improvement Fund.
The Angling Improvement Fund is open from the 14th of April 2023 for projects relating to biosecurity and INNS. During this Virtual Forum, we’ll hear from successful applicants to the previous rounds of this fund, and how they have used their awards to combat INNS on their waters. We’ll also discuss the Angling Improvement Fund in more detail – including who can apply, and what biosecurity or INNS projects can be funded.
This session is free to attend and open to all, and we encourage you notify any fishing friends or colleagues who may find the session useful.
Tuesday 18th April 2023
Start time: 7:00pm
End time: 8:30pm (approx)

Virtual Fisheries Forums follow a simple format, with talks from our guest speakers, before an open Q&A session, where your questions and comments will be discussed. Using the Q&A function on Zoom, you will be able to raise questions at any time. We are also happy to take questions in advance of the meeting.
If you are interested but unable to attend the Forum, please register as normal to receive an email alert once our Virtual Fisheries Forum Resources Centre has been updated with a recording of the session.
