Virtual Fisheries Forum | The Angling Improvement Fund

17 March 2021 7:00 PM - 17 March 2021 8:30 PM
Open to all

In this Virtual Fisheries Forum, we welcome National Angling Improvement Fund & Club Support Manager Mark Wilton for a talk on how your club or fishery could benefit from the AIF.

What is the AIF?

The Angling Improvement Fund (AIF) is run by the Angling Trust as a way of reinvesting income from Environment Agency fishing licence sales into projects which benefit anglers across England. Since its launch in 2015, the AIF has already made over 500 separate awards totalling over £2.3m to clubs and fisheries in England.

For 2021, we are looking to make awards of up to a maximum of £5,000 for new project proposals based around measures that help protect or prevent stocks from predation from mammals and fish eating birds.

Find out everything you need to know about this fund and the application process by registering below.
