Fishing Fundraisers
Angling Trust members support our activities through their membership fees. As a not for profit organisation, we ensure that every £ is made to work as hard as it possibly can. However, we always want to do more to protect, promote and develop angling for all.
A crucial additional source of campaign funding for us comes via donations. If you feel you can support us with a monthly or one off donation, please visit our page here. You may however prefer to support us another way…
Have you, your friends or fellow Club members ever held a fishing fundraiser? Why not hold one for us!
Whether coarse, game, sea or match fishing is your passion we can guarantee there is a way that your angling can help the Angling Trust.
Some ideas to get you started –
- Run a match in aid of ‘Anglers Against Pollution’ and donate the fees.
- Hold an open day and invite your local community to come along. Charge a small fee for people to fish and donate the proceeds.
- Maybe run a species hunt with the overall winner receiving a price and a % of the proceeds donated to us.
- Hold a social event at your Club house and raise funds from a raffle or takings from the bar.
- If your Club or Fishery has a nominated charity of the year, can we persuade you to nominate us?
Once you’ve held your fundraiser then let us know about it! We’d love to promote your organisation and thank you publicly on our social media pages and via our member newsletters.
