Get in touch with the Participation & Development Team
The Angling Trust’s Participation and Development team has been reorganised. To help you get in touch with the right people to support your relevant events and angling development projects, we’ve provided the contact below. We encourage you to pick up the phone or drop us an email and look forward to hearing from you…
Full-time Participation Team:
We have a team of four full-time staff who will work with clubs, fisheries, qualified and Angling Trust licensed coaches, angling organisations, education and health providers, Local Authorities and charities, to support events and programmes which increase participation in freshwater angling and increase sales in rod licences, from all demographics. This includes liaising with Environment Agency contacts regarding applications for fishing licence waivers for angling participation events. They also work to secure additional funding to increase participation in freshwater angling.
This team is split into Northern and Southern regions.
The North of England Region covers: The North East; Cumbria and Lancashire; Yorkshire; Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire; Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire; East Midlands, and East Anglia.
The South of England Region covers: West Midlands; Wessex; Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly; Thames; Hertfordshire and North London; Kent, South London and East Sussex, and Solent and South Downs.
