Fighting for Fishing

When it all goes wrong: Martin Salter’s blog
I suppose I’m as guilty as any angling writer of giving the impression that my fishing trips are a more or less constant procession of successful exploits with reel singing action and happy, smiley trophy shots. After all, who wants to read about the blanks?
The reality, of course, is that for every great day on the water there’s disaster and every good day is balanced by a pleasant, but distinctly average, angling experience. So this time I thought I’d tell a couple of tales of long planned trips to exotic locations that didn’t quite go as planned.
