Wetherby and District Angling Club is a long standing local club in Yorkshire. The club have some beautiful stretches of the River Wharfe and River Nidd , sections of the Aire & Calder Canal and also The Carlston Hill Ponds which offer fishing for Tench and Crucians. This rich varuety of venues gives members acces to both coarse and game fishing and amazingly, membership costs just £30 a year plus £3 P&P to get your club book posted out.

The waters on offer really do offer a bit of everything, with some great barbel and chub stretches, some lovely roach and dace on the float, winter grayling and pike. Fly fishing for wild brown trout, big bream and perch and of course the Tench and Crucians in the ponds.

The club really try to be an active part of the community and brings together individuals who share a passion for fishing in the Wetherby area. It not only provides access to fishing locations but also promotes responsible angling, community engagement, and various activities that enhance the angling experience for its members. It’s a friendly club, with great fishing all for less than £3 a month !
