Points to note for both Level 1 and Level 2 licensing

Your licence can’t be issued until Angling Trust has clearance on the associated DBS check.  If it is necessary to view the printed DBS certificate we will contact you to arrange this, but we would be required to view the original printed document (not a photocopy or digital image) and would return it promptly.  Please DON’T send any DBS certificate to Angling Trust unless we specifically ask you to do so.

Your licence will be issued as nominally valid for three years from the month of issue, that is, dependent upon all required elements and payment of the annual fee being kept up to date.

We normally send out licence renewal mailings just over a month before the stated expiry date (all licence expiry dates are the final day of the stated month).  A Direct Debit option is available for payment of the annual licence fee, but for coaches who prefer to use a different method we will send an “Annual payment due” mailing.  If a third party such as an employer or angling club offers to pay your licence fee, we will be happy make the appropriate invoicing arrangements for this, or set up a Direct Debit with the account holder’s permission.
