Last year Long Eaton & Victoria Angling Society celebrated being awarded just under £10,000 from a Sport England Small Grant scheme to top up Grange Pond in Long Eaton with tench and carp.
This has helped to boost membership levels and improve the fishery for local anglers – see www.levas.co.uk.
The grant application was assisted by Partnership Development Manager James Roche.
Contact your Club & Fishery Development Officer – they can help your club get a grant to purchase equipment, train coaches and stock fisheries.
