Supermarket Baits – Part 2 | Get Fishing Spring Series
Spring is a fantastic time of year to get outdoors and enjoy some time next to the water. The new Get Fishing Spring Series with Jimmy Willis will show some of the benefits of spring fishing – while using baits you can buy from any supermarket!
In Episode 2, Jimmy goes off on his own in search of a bigger fish, with a can of Spam!
Spring Into Fishing is happening all around England and aims to make angling accessible and introduce fishing to a new audience, with everybody welcome whatever age, ability or experience level.
Never been fishing before? No problem – tackle, bait, instruction and info on fishing clubs and places to go are all included, free.
Parents and grandparents – bring the kids, have a go yourself and discover how fishing is not only a fun, exciting, cheap and healthy outdoor activity it’s also a great excuse to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature…
Find events to go fishing this spring at: https://www.anglingtrust.net/getfishing. You will need a rod fishing licence from the Environment Agency to fish for freshwater fish in England (except the River Tweed), Wales and the Border Esk region of Scotland. You can purchase one here: https://www.gov.uk/fishing-licences
Licences for children aged between 13 and 16 are free, but you’ll still need to get one. You must always carry your rod fishing licence when you’re fishing or you could be prosecuted.
You can get all the fishing tackle used in this video from Angling Direct: https://www.anglingdirect.co.uk/
