Anglers Against Litter

Tonbridge anglers carry out clean-up at country park and River Medway
Tonbridge & District Anglers have been making the most of their free litter picking equipment from the Angling Trust’s Anglers Against Litter campaign.
Club volunteers joined representatives from the Trust to carry out a litter pick in the popular Haysden Country Park and along the River Medway.
The Angling Trust’s Anglers Against Litter campaign is sponsored by tackle manufacturers Shimano whose generosity has provided the litter picking kits. More than 100 angling clubs have signed up to receiving litter picking kits and pledge to carry out at least two organised litter picks per year.
