ANGLING TRUST TO LAUNCH ENGLAND U18 RIVERS TEAM FOR 2025 WORLD CHAMPS
The Angling Trust is launching an England U18 Rivers squad to compete in the FIPS-Mouche 2025 World Youth River Fly Fishing Championships – could you be part of it?
We’re looking to recruit an experienced team manager, tactical coach, and six anglers between 16 and 18 years old to form the squad which will fish in the USA next summer.
We want all budding young game anglers to get involved by sending in their application now. As with our medal-winning coarse, sea, and game teams, the Angling Trust will select the best anglers to be part of assessment and coaching days over the next few months.
* To be part of the squad (open to anglers between 14 and 18 years old on December 31, 2024) send your CV along with a covering letter to competitions@anglingtrust.net marking the subject line as ENGLAND U18 RIVERS SQUAD.
* To apply for the manager/coach roles please send your CV along with a covering letter of no more than 500 words about why you would be perfect for the roles to competitions@anglingtrust.net marking the subject line as ENGLAND U18 RIVERS MANAGER/COACH.
Currently, the management and anglers will all need to be self-funded although work is already underway to secure sponsors for the squad.
Deadline for all entries is Friday October 4, 2024.
