Thanks to the generosity of Oz Holness, Tom Stokes, Nick Helleur and Jerry Hammond along with the fantastic support of Reading and District Angling Association and the magnificent team at Fink Food Fishing, we are delighted to introduce our latest fundraising prize draw – Carp Extravaganza 2022.

Our four winners will have exclusive access to Reading and District Angling Association’s premier carp lake ‘Junction 12’ on Friday 24th to Sunday 26^th June 2022. Reported to hold up to 500 carp with 12 different known 40lb+ fish present, the 15 acre lake will be reserved solely for the four winners who will each partner a top carp angler for the weekend. In addition, all food will be kindly provided by Fink Food Fishing. This will include a social BBQ on the Saturday providing an opportunity for everyone to get together, meet one another and ask questions of the other anglers.

Tickets for Carp Extravaganza 2022 are on sale from 9am on the 11th April to 9pm on the 29th May 2022. The draw to select our four lucky winners will take place on the 2nd June 2022. All proceeds, (after direct costs of transaction fees and promotion are deducted), are ploughed straight back into the Angling Trust to support our work to protect, promote and develop angling…fighting for fish, fishing and our precious environment. No costs have been incurred on prizes, all are generously donated by our supporters. The Angling Trust is a not-for-profit organisation.

Oz Holness Prize

Oz is quite simply a superb carp angler – he has caught many of the country’s most iconic carp including Two-Tone and the Burghfield Common. Oz documented some of his stories in his excellent book 'Forces of Nature' and is the focus of a number of social media films with Sticky Baits and Thinking Anglers. One winner will have the opportunity to fish alongside Oz for 48 hours, learning from one of the very best anglers around.

Tom Stokes Prize

Often referred to as the nicest guy in carp fishing Tom is an inspirational angler whose enthusiasm is infectious. Tom has caught some phenomenal fish from a variety of waters including three different highly sought after 50lb + common carp in recent years. Tom is an incredible story teller and his accounts of captures on Cypography including live footage of the Baby Black Mirror showcase his dedication and drive. Tom has joined the Korda stable and you could be forgiven for feeling like he catches a new target fish every month. One very lucky winner will have the opportunity to partner Tom for 48 hours.

Nick Helleur Prize

Nick is simply one of the best big carp anglers of his generation. With an incredible album of big carp, Nick has caught from an enormous variety of venues both at home and abroad. His capture of a stunning 50lb+ river Thames linear was testament to his pioneering attitude to fishing. Nick is a member of the Sticky Baits team and his Thinking Anglers vlog details a regular snapshot of his fishing adventures. Nick is known for his straight taking and quick wit and one extremely lucky winner will have the opportunity to fish with him for 48 hours.

Jerry Hammond Prize

As both a hugely successful carp angler and fishery owner, Jerry is a fount of all knowledge – he has caught some of the country's most sought after carp and has documented much of this through his book 'Catching Memories'. As well as having caught enough big carp to fill multiple lifetimes, Jerry also has a fascinating back story having appeared in multiple films. Part of the Trakker operation, Jerry will be fishing with one winner for 48 hours.
