Virtual Fisheries Forum | Get Involved In National Fishing Month
In our next Virtual Fisheries Forum join us as we provide an introduction to the campaign and information on how your club, fishery or organisation can play a part in this summer’s celebration of all forms of angling.
National Fishing Month is an Angling Trades Association campaign run in partnership with the Angling Trust and Environment Agency. The campaign is a celebration of the wonderful world of angling and highlights events where the non angling public can get into fishing, all the benefits that angling can bring as well as information on how and where you can fish. This year the campaign will be running from the 1st – 31st August. Register here.
This online fisheries forum will see presentations from the Angling Trades Association, Environment Agency and the Angling Trust providing an insight into the aims and objectives of National Fishing Month, and importantly suggestions on the ways in which clubs, fisheries, tackle shops and other organisations can get involved along with all the support/resources available to help.
National Fishing Month provides a fantastic opportunity to help get more people into fishing and really raise the profile of the sport.
Our panel for the evening will be:
1) Andrew Race: Chairman, Angling Trades Association
2) Steve Chambers: Senior business lead, licences and promotion, Environment Agency
3) James Roche: Angling Development Manager, Angling Trust

How will this Virtual Forum work?
After feedback from previous events, our Virtual Fisheries Forums will now be broadcast via Zoom. Once you’ve registered, you will be sent a link for joining. You do not need an account with Zoom in order to take part.
Virtual Fisheries Forums follow a simple format, with talks from our guest speakers before an open Q&A session, where your questions will be answered. Using the Q&A function on Zoom, you will be able to raise questions at any time.
