Amie Battams – fly angler and social media influencer
Since landing her first rainbow in 2020, Amie Battams has become a powerful advocate for inclusivity in the sport and has frequently highlighted the challenges faced by women anglers. She has also added her voice to our Anglers Against Pollution campaign to halt pollution of our rivers and seas.
Amie said: “I’m looking forward to working with the Angling Trust and supporting their causes, particularly the campaign to safeguard the health of our rivers and seas. At last, polluters are being held accountable for their actions and that’s because of organisations like the Angling Trust.
“I would like to see more anglers get behind the Trust. Together we can protect the wonderful places we love to fish to enable us all to enjoy our hobbies and connect with nature.”
