Angling by its very nature is a vastly diverse catholic church with very little in common between the widely differing groups. Anglers, too, are by their nature shy, retiring and solitary creatures! If there is any chance of the sport being heard in political and wider social arenas then a single and effective mouthpiece must be created and be supported.
