The Event Support Volunteer Award course is designed to support those aged 16 and upwards who wish to offer voluntary help at Get Fishing Award events and provides an introduction to step into coaching.
Places are free to the first 100 who take part, supported by funding from the Environment Agency rod licence income that is being reinvested to develop new anglers.
Angling Trust will also arrange for you to undertake the category of Enhanced DBS check which is a requirement for your role as an Event Support Volunteer. Guidance for completing the two actions that you need to do will also come by email, but this will be separate from the instructions and Zoom link supplied by your tutor.
