Virtual Fisheries Forum | Anglers National Line Recycling Scheme
The Angling Trust’s anti-littler agenda Anglers Against Litter has gained national acclaim and continued support. As as part of our on-going mission to help tackle pollution, littering and poor angling practice, we are delighted to have The Anglers National Line Recycling Scheme’s Steve Tapp – join us for what promises to be a fascinating Virtual Forum.
Since its launch in March 2018 over 378 shops have signed up to the ANLRS along with over 192 fisheries, angling clubs and charter boats – with some manufacturers having also pledged their on-going support. The scheme is also working with the Angling Trust to investigate collaborative projects that will expand the scheme and its impact across the country.
Steve will cover where ANLRS are now, what anglers fisheries, clubs and fishing related businesses can do to support the scheme and the subsequent launch of a new Charity ReAP, which is all about recycling all aquatic plastic litter.
A fantastic project with an environmental ethos we fully support. We sincerely hope you can lend your support to it, by joining us on Tuesday 6th Feb.
Fisheries Forums are free to attend and open to all, and we would encourage you to notify any fishing friends or colleagues who might find the session useful.
