CARP TEAM ENGLAND ANNOUNCE SOUTH COAST RODS AS OFFICIAL SPONSORS
Angling Trust Carp Team England have signed a major new sponsorship with tackle company South Coast Rods.
The deal will see the company join forces with the Carp Team England Senior squad as their official sponsors on a three year deal, supporting the squad’s quest for World Championships gold medals until the end of 2027.
South Coast Rods are widely regarded as a progressive, forward-thinking company and are a perfect fit for squad, many of whom already use their rods in international and elite-level competitions.
Team Manager, Neil Rivers, said “We can’t wait to start working with Graham and Stu at South Coast Rods. The team and I are all really excited about this new partnership and are incredibly grateful to them for putting their faith in us and offering their support – it means a lot to everyone.
“South Coast Rods are passionate about what they do – they work hard, produce fantastic rods, and they put their fair share of fish on the bank too – a perfect fit for the CTE family.”
The announcement comes as the team and sponsors get ready for this year’s World Championships which are being held in Croatia in mid-September.
SCR Technical Director, Stuart Higgs, said: “Everyone at the company is really proud to be sponsoring the team and supporting the lads as they target their third gold medal in Croatia this summer.
“We’ll be on the bank with them to support the squad and bring updates live from the match to all the followers and supporters back home.”
Angling Trust Head of Competitions & Team England, Steve Fitzpatrick, said: “I’d like to thank out-going sponsors Outlaw Pro for their incredible support of Carp Team England over the past few years and wish them all the best.
“We’re excited to work with South Coast Rods over the next three years and I know that the support they will give will help the team to regain their No.1 status in World carp fishing.”
